This luxurious gîte occupies the site of the former home of the Master of the House.
The house is right in the centre of the old village with all its amenities.
It is designed to accommodate 2 to 4 people, allowing you to recharge your batteries as the seasons change and to enjoy the wonderful light offered by the villages on the mountainside.
Comfortable, calm and bright, it's the ideal place to put down your bags and take a trip back in time.
You can sleep in the bedroom dating from 1603 and take your bath in 1711!
In each room, we give pride of place to crafts and our popular Alsatian arts, allowing you to discover the region and its traditions from the inside.
The kitchen, historically the vital centre of the home, the place where water and fire come together to prepare the family's daily food, has been designed as such.
These different functions are reflected in special features such as the decorated tiled cooker, the worktop designed with the more modern idea of a kitchen open to the living space.
*You'll find all the equipment you need: fridge/freezer, microwave oven, glass-ceramic hob and traditional oven, dishwasher.
Of course, you'll also find all the essential kitchen utensils, including everything you need to prepare a good breakfast: toaster, filter coffee maker, Nespresso percolator, etc.
In the lounge/dining room, a round table overlooking the flower-filled street lets you enjoy the atmosphere of a picturesque village, with the prospect of a small alleyway leading to the town hall.
From this south-facing living room, you'll discover a small window overlooking the courtyard, which you can use to your advantage.
*The pull-out sofa in the living room offers the possibility of 2 additional quality beds.
The spacious bedroom has a very comfortable bed (180x200) and offers the same luminous orientation as the living room.
The bathroom, which did not exist originally, has been designed around a large period bath on a Lion's Paw stand.
A small window overlooking the kitchen, originally a pass-through, has been restored as a bottle back.
This is a charming, spacious bathroom where you can relax after a busy day of sightseeing and walking!
It also has a shower and toilet.
*Towels and household linen are provided.
Outside, table and chairs will be waiting for you in our courtyard as soon as the fine weather arrives. A barbecue is also available. Perfect for an outdoor snack.
